I'm thrilled to be part of the jet ski club here in Poole, now well into my second year. The summers have gone from good to epic. There’s nothing quite like flying over the water at high speed to cool off after a hard day’s work during the week or a fantastic day out at the beach with friends and family on the weekend. The team here makes everything so simple and straightforward, and with a decent choice of machines it’s honestly the best club to be a part of I’ve ever experienced.
I can’t recommend this boat club highly enough. It is all about the team for me – Noel, Emily and Jamie are such friendly and caring people, both experienced and patient as teachers/instructors, and completely supportive of your boating journey, whatever your level of experience. I was toying (more fantasizing!) with the idea of buying a boat, which led me to Get Lost Powerboat Training when I took a PB2 course with them – I soon realised that to become a member of their Powerboat club would be a much easier and more cost effective way of getting out on the water, especially as a beginner boater. So I joined and did a few more courses. Noel continues to be supportive and is more than happy, at no extra cost, to come out boating with you if you need to refresh your skills or want to be shown how to navigate to a particular location. They have created a great community of members and I have never had an issue with boat availability, which I was worried about before joining. They do everything to a high standard and so run a very tidy ship! So glad I found them.
Doing my PB2 almost 4 years ago and joining the boat club just over 3 years ago, Noel and the team at Get Lost Powerboat Training and the Powerboat Club have taught me everything I know now. They have helped and guided me through all the practical & theory courses and have got me where I am today as a qualified Powerboat instructor. With great boats on offer to take out, you can never be disappointed when out on the water. Can’t recommend them enough!!
Hands down the best thing I’ve ever done! The boat club gives you access to the beautiful Jurassic coast which never gets boring. Most importantly, Noel and his team are uber friendly and make everything super easy. Their clever booking system ensures excellent access to the boats. I highly recommended for anyone with a sense of adventure and doesn’t like faff!
The boat club has been great fun since joining early in 2022. Noel, Emily and the team have an infectious love of all things boating. I’ve learnt so much from them through the formal training and the ongoing support and guidance that’s always on hand. With family and friends we’ve enjoyed plenty of sunny days playing in Studland bay, trips to The Isle of Wight, through the Solent and across the Dorset coast towards Weymouth. For someone with near enough no boating experience just over a year ago…it’s a big call out and thanks to the Get lost team.
I have been a power boat club member with my son for nearly 2 years and it is a very easy way to get into boating and learn in a fun environment.
Noel and Emily are extremely friendly and make the whole experience of learning so simple.
Nothing seems to be too much trouble.
My Son is now thinking of a career in the boating industry and this is solely down to Noel & Emily making the whole experience so much fun.
I would recommend the boat club to anyone looking to get into boating or someone who already has experience in boating.
After many years of visiting Dorset for weekends and holidays but without going on the water, my wife, daughter and I decided to do our Power Boat level 2 qualification with Get Lost Powerboat Training. Noel was an incredibly enthusiastic and reassuring teacher and the course was a great success. We were bitten by the boating bug and wanted to learn and to practise more. The Boat Club was the perfect way to do this throughout the year - we completed more courses and spent some wonderful days on the various club boats in all four seasons, with friends and family (and on two occasions dolphins). The boats are very well maintained and kitted out (including foul weather gear and an electric SUP pump). All of the team have been incredibly helpful, always happy to answer questions, suggest where to go and generally make our boat outings as enjoyable, safe and stress-free as possible. I have enjoyed meeting other members of the club too; when stuck in the office, seeing photos of what they have been up to helps one to get through the working week! We have loved being members of the Boat Club and would highly recommend it as a cost-effective way of boating in a fun and supportive environment.
I started my boating journey at Get lost Powerboat Training with my first course powerboat level 2, it was clear from the outset I was in the right place surrounded by knowledge & facilities that exceeded my expectations of my first boating course that left me hooked and wanting to learn more….. I then completed my VHF radio / Day skipper theory / intermediate power boat / skills refresher and then I was ready to join Powerboatclub UK and have the ability to take the boats out with friends & family and make boating part of my free time. Very exciting! Through this stage the support & guidance from the team was fantastic always on hand delivered in a fun environment. After 2 years in the club it is great to see it evolving with new members, new boats & opportunities like a recent RYA motor cruiser course in Spain I did hosted by the training team along with my Yachtmaster theory course. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to enjoy affordable stress free boating & share my new knowledge with friends within the club. I highly recommend this company.
